    This year trend is colored by various 3D and LED monitor. After releasing 3D monitor several times ago, now LG released monitor using IPS (In-Plane Switching) Panel as the main buffer of Flatron IPS236V.

    As its name, IPS236V is a monitor with IPS panel which has proven to have better display compared with other conventional TN (Twisted Nematic) panel display used in other monitors. The average of IPS panel is able to display better color with wider viewpoint. That’s why LG provides complete display setting, especially for color, where it’s available 6 colors calibration setting of R, G, B, C, M, Y which are included into “Six Color” menu.

    Its exterior side is also attractive. Shiny combination and aryclic accent in lower panel and buffer made monitor display overall seems great. If you have various device, you can count on this monitor. To do it, you just have to do exchange in input type of VGA, DVI and HDMI as needed.

    Although using IPS Panel, IPS236V still cannot compete upper class IPS monitor. But, you have to remember too that you have to pay more for the IPS professional monitor. As value class IPS monitor, IPS236V has specific display of IPS Panel with more affordable price.

P LINE,B LINE, S LINE. The Latest Monitor of Philips

 

    Philips launched three latest LED monitor for business segment of previous September 2011. The three monitor series are Professional Line (P Line), Business Line (B Line), Small Business Line (Small Line). According to Senior Product Manager Philips Monitor International, Hawk Chang, LED which is used in this product didn’t contain mercury, so it will be so environmental friendly.

   Technology used, LED (Light Emitting Diode) made Philips monitor saves 40% energy than LCD monitor used CCFL CCFL  (Cold Cathode Florescent Lamps) energy. P Line Series appears with screen size 23in, 24in, and 27in. P Line is equipped with DisplayPort feature which is able to connect without adaptor. Data transfer rate to 10.8 Gbps, faster than DVI.

     “This series is suitable for architecture and designer communities who need picture quality with high resolution. The color would be seemed as its real color,” said Marketing Manager Philips Monitor Internasional, Recky Yu. While for B Line and S Line series, they’re specifically developed for business class such as small household business, equipped with High Definition technology which is quite ideal for graphic application. SmartImage feature is technology to conform display setting. This series is available in 20 inches and 21.5 inches size.
