Tips How to Change Writing Colors and Command Prompt Background in Windows XP

Command Prompt or popularly known as DOS has appearance in form of box with black background and white letters. If you feel bored with the appearance, you can change the color as you wish, so it would be seen more attractive. These are the tips:

1. open Command Prompt program through Start - All Programs - Accessories - Command Prompt

2. Right-Click on upper part of Command Prompt box, then choose Properties, then click on tab Colors

3. to exchange the letter’s colors, click on Screen Text choices, then selected color from the choice provided.

4. to change background’s color, click on Screen Background choice, then select color from the choice offered. If you’ve already done, click on OK

5. there would be appeared confirmation box. Click on Modify shortcut that started this window choice. It is useful to make this change color permanent. After that, click on OK
