History and Development of Android (Part 2)

     This article is sequel from previous article, that is History and Development of Android (Part 1). Here is the development of Android OS technology:
Android v2.3 (Gingerbread)
On December 6th 2010, Android version 2.3 (Gingerbread) was launched. Change found in this version such as: the improvement in gaming ability, improvement of copy-paste function, re-designed interface screen, support of video format VP8 and WebM, new audio effect (reverb, equalization, headphone virualization, and bass boost). Beside, there werealso additional attractive features, they were the support of Near Field Communication (NFC) ability, and camera support which is more than one. First mobile used Gingerbread was Sony Ericsson Arc which was introduced in Asean on the mid-March 2011

   Android v3.0 (Honeycomb)
Android Honeycomb designed specifically for PC tablet. This version Android has support larger screen size. User Interface on Android Honeycomb was also changed since it was designed for PC tablet. Honeycomb was supported multi-processor and also hardware acceleration for graphic. First PC Tablet used Android v2.3 Honeycomb was Motorola Xoom
