Nokia Windows Phone Will Use Dual Core ST-Ericsson Chip

  According to CEO STMicroelectronics, Carlo Bozzoti, as quoted by pocketnow, there said that some Nokia mobiles with Windows Phone platform wil use Dual Core ST-Ericsson chip. ST-Ericsson is a joint venture company between STMicroelectronics and Ericsson.

  This company has pretty good relationship with Nokia. Carlo Bozzoti also stated that ST-Ericsson will be one of the chip distributor for Windows Phone smartphone and NovaThor U8500 chipset was reported to be ST-Ericsson chipset to be put on Nokia creation Windows Phone. In the next 2012, Nokia planned to release not less than 12 Windows Phone smartphones.
